St. Leonards Children's Centre

St Leonards Children’s Centre offers all families with children under five a range of services, information and support.

Services provided include:
• advice during pregnancy and when
your baby is born;
• home visiting;
• family drop-ins;
• parenting support;
• information about children's health needs;
• training courses to improve life skills or help getting back to work;
• help finding specialist groups and services;
• play and learn drop-in for parents/carers and their children

St Leonards Children’s Centre works closely with local Health partners who provide weekly clinics and drop-ins; the Fellowship of St. Nicholas where a range of projects,including nurseries and training can be accessed; as well as signposting to other practitioners, local organisations and community groups where more services are available.

By 2010 every community in East Sussex will have access to a Children’s Centre. If you would like to know more about the development of Children's Centres please contact the Early Years, Childcare and Extended Schools Service.
