VOLUNTEERING WITH FSN

FSN works with vulnerable children and families and need volunteers to support all projects.

We believe Volunteers are a valuable asset to our organisation, we listen and respond to our volunteer's suggestions and recognise that successful volunteering involves open two-way communication leading to mutual understanding.

Our services aim to care for people in our communities, which includes our own staff and volunteers. We have developed, over the years, a range of policies that create safe working practices to protect service users,
volunteers and staff.

You can choose what you would like to do from a variety of opportunities, and choose what days and how many hours you would like to volunteer for.

WHY VOLUNTEER?

  • Make a difference to someone's life
  • Use your life experience to help others
  • Gain work experience and new skills
  • Make friends - mixing with new people who are into the same things, form new friendships on the way
  • Develop your personal skills
