Fun Van
The Fun Van supports and works in partnership with the Bexhill and Rural Children's Centres to provide healthy, imaginative and creative learning and play opportunities in areas where there are few facilities for young children, 0 - 5 years old, and their carers. The Fun Van team provide a range of indoor and outdoor activities.
Some of the activities provided by the
Fun Van team:
Corn flour and messy play
Shaving Foam play
Sand/Water play
Arts and Crafts
Clay making
Play dough
Games
The Fun Van team
provide a friendly and open service that promotes self confidence and self esteem in a stimulating environment which enables children to develop skills, knowledge and abilities, and work towards the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
The Fun Van team support Rural Rother Children’s Centre Fun Days, Activity Road Shows and summer programme of events
supportive environment where parents and carers can exchange information and develop new skills.
The
team provide information
regarding other events in the community and signpost families
to other services in the area
The Fun Van team often assist at the many other groups run by Battle Children’s Centre
including “Bumps to Babies”, “Music Group”, “Parent Get Together”, “Dads Group” and “Additional Needs Groups”.
