The
Fun Van supports and works in partnership with the Rural SureStart Children's
Centre to provide healthy, imaginative and creative learning and play
opportunities in areas where there are few facilities for young children,
0 - 5 years old, and their carers.
The Fun Van team provide a friendly and open service that promotes self
confidence and self esteem in a stimulating environment which enables
children to develop skills, knowledge
and abilities, and work towards the Early
Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
The Fun Van team can provide indoor and outdoor actvities where outside areas are avalable.
Some

Corn flour and
messy play
Shaving Foam play
Sand/Water play
Arts and Crafts
Clay making
Play dough
Games
The
Fun Van provides a supportive environment where parents and carers can
exchange information and develop new skills.
The team also provide information regarding other events in the community and signpost families to other services in the area.
