What is PALS?

PALS is a play and learn service that runs play sessions at different venues in the Hastings and
St Leonards SureStart area.
PALS aim to bring play and
learning experiences for local families to enjoy together.

PALS offers opportunities for families to come along, meet other families and make new friends whilst having FUN!

Who can come to PALS?

PALS drop-in sessions are for families with children up to the age of 5 years.

What do we do?

PALS sessions run for 2 hours with a routine that encourages children with their parents/carers to explore and play freely developing autonomy and confidence as well as encouraging attention, turn taking and listening skills.

A normal session is
as follows:
1 hour - free play
15 min - free snack time
30 mins - physical play/
outdoor play

15 mins - singing/group time/ story

We like to make noise, sing songs and play musical instruments.

We like to glue, stick, colour, cut, mould, paint and glitter things.

We provide FREE refreshments for you and your family including fresh fruit.

PALS want to see you and your child enjoying playing together while getting the most out of it.
