St. Nick's
Nursery is in the grounds of St. Nicholas Centre and offers 38 quality
care and education ‘under five’ places. The Nursery has a warm, secure
and bright environment where, through play and creative activities,
children will grow in confidence and develop to their greatest potential.
Registered with OFSTED Registration No. 511215 and follows OFSTED National
Welfare Day Care Standards. Children are supported and encouraged to
learn through play using the
'Early Years Foundation Stage' curriculum.
Early
Years Education Entitlement (EYEE)
Pre-school children
(3+ - 5 years the term after the child is 3 years old) are eligible for
the Early Years Education Entitlement which allows children to attend
nursery free of charge for a maximum of 15 hours per week over 38 weeks
a year. Sessions available
at 9-12, 12-3, 9-3

The baby room is well equipped to a high standard with cots and high chairs as well as apropriate play equiment
